Groupe Monnoyeur acquires Vianova Systems Benelux to expand its Civil Engineering and Construction Software Distribution activity

Groupe Monnoyeur is a long-term partner of the construction industry in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Romania and Algeria distributing Caterpillar products with its Bergerat Monnoyeur distribution network. It also brings the Trimble construction technology on site with its SITECH network and AllTerra's geospatial distribution.

Vianova Systems Benelux is an Autodesk and Trimble Authorized Reseller, specialized in CAD/BIM solutions within the Civil Engineering and Construction market. Over the past ten years, its team of experts achieved a key market position in the Benelux by providing solutions for 3D design, BIM, planning and collaboration tools adapted to customers' needs.

This acquisition is a strategic step forward for the Groupe Monnoyeur to fulfil its overall mission to become the undisputed provider of integrated hardware and software solutions to maximize the construction space performance.

A: The new organization is built around the experts of Vianova Systems Benelux. In addition, it will be augmented by a series of new members to increase the market coverage.

Q: What will happen to the current Vianova Systems France team?
A: Vianova Systems France is a strong team of experts that will continue developing the utilization of BIM in large infrastructure and industrial projects. Our new organization will be the distribution partner providing the software for the French market and will work together with Vianova Systems France to support the customers in getting the right software and services to support their projects.

Q: When will you be present on the French and Polish markets?
A: As of today, we are already able to provide solutions for BeNeLux and France from its organization in Belgium. The French and Polish organizations will be fully staffed and operational by June 2018.

Q: Are you offering Trimble TILOS products?
A: TILOS product offering is offered either by the Vianova Systems Benelux organization or through our partner Projet Lineaire who is also offering a range of services on project management.

Q: Why has Monnoyeur acquired Vianova Systems Benelux?
A: The Groupe Monnoyeur strongly believes that the addition of a robust construction software offering is a key to building a complete construction management solution for our customers. In the existing trend of automation of the construction process, it is important to bring the software that allows the design and management of the construction process as well as the machines to build.

A: Some office sharing may be implemented with the existing Vianova Systems Benelux locations, with some additional locations required by the investment plan to develop the company portfolio and reach.

A: For the immediate future, Vianova Systems Benelux product pricing for software and support remains the same as it was prior to the acquisition.
